Pre-requisite skills: Differential Equations, basic control theory, linear algebra

Course Content:

  • Nonlinear dynamical systems, an introduction and specialities.
  • Linearisation and linear stability analysis.
  • Poincare Bendixon theorem, Bendixon theorem, index of a field, bifurcations.
  • Lyapunov stability, Asymptotic stability, Chetaev’s Instability theorem.

Motivation to take up the course: Interest in mathematics for controls or dynamical analysis.
