Prof. Arnab Maity

Path Planning for Drones

Milind Anil Kharwade

Year of Study: 3rd

Contact details: 9404341244

Project type: BTP.

Motivation to pursue project: I wanted to do a project under the umbrella of controls to get some practical exposure as I enjoyed doing assignments/projects in the theory courses taken till then. In Prof. Arnab’s research group, there are many students doing projects on many different aspects of drones. So one could also learn about other things involved in drone technology in general.

Summary of Project: In my phase 1 of the project, I explored various algorithms for path planning in an environment and developed a code for one of them (Artificial Potential Field). Codes in development:-https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xxxFnWtw6OhsJ9faM_1i9BkMxhpSGcF9?usp=sharing
